Just writing to say Love your site and thought you might be interested in the comments made about a visit to Stonehenge by a lovely blogger who has a site called owl in the dark. She says something about them being grandfather stones but I have always thought of them as female. Also Tolkien in one of his books mentions Old Man willow. Isn’t that the willow that swallows up Bilbo in the Hobbit? Maybe that’s poetic license but was he tapping into another archetype? I have always thought of them as quintissentially female trees. Anyway, greetings from downunder were midwinter has just passed and the hibiscus is still in flower!
Hi Stoatie! I’m druid inspired Brythonic pagan living in Manchester. I just put a request to join your facebook group and I’d be interested in getting in touch. I really liked the Imbolc ritual you described (Imbolc is a seasonal festival very close to my heart) I didn’t realise there where any Druid groups near me until now but I’m happy I came across you 🙂
