Thanks for joining me here for the past year 🙂 Wishing you all health and happiness in 2015!
Last night Mr Stoatie and I experienced our first ever lock-in down at the local. What rebels we are! The Landlady supplied us all with cones of fish and chips and laid on traditional party games such as pass the parcel which was a bit of a surprise. During the evening Mr Stoatie won a pair of fluffy orange and white striped socks which came in handy to keep my hands warm on the walk home!
I have four precious days off work now, which are made all the sweeter because apart from a walk with a friend, I have nothing planned and can spend most of the time loafing around at home in my pyjamas with occasional breaks to sort out the housework, tidy up, make plans for the year etc.
One thing I do intend to do is catch up on a my blog posts, so the next few days will have a few posts about Hong Kong, our family xmas trip, Alban Arthan etc. The blog is a diary/journal and I really want to record all this before I plunge into 2015. I need to recover my blogging mojo and these should kick start me off nicely.
I haven’t made any Resolutions as such but there are a few things I’m intending to get my head round this year, as well as the blog. One of which is my health, so I’m planning to dust off the bike. Mr Stoatie, his cousin, his brother, and his sister and her husband, are all booked in to cycle the coast to coast in May. My father in law (who’s in his seventies) and myself, are supposed to be joining them for a day, so I really feel a bit of training is in order! I have an array of problems with my gut so I shall be having a hard stare at my food intake too.
I’m hoping that 2015 will also be the year that the garden gets under control, the house renovations are finished and the ironing pile is never more than two foot high!
Of course the other main considerations are the job – I can’t do much to remove the stress but I can continue to work on how I cope with it; and also my druidry, which really is the cornerstone on which everything rests. In 2014 I left the Grove I co-founded and co-facilitated for seven years, fully intending to continue to practise as a solitary, but then the Universe/Spirit decided I should start another! So this year there’ll be a lot of – hopefully - fun and enjoyable work surrounding the Wildwood too 🙂
