I managed to pick some of those everlasting sweet pea pods last week when I was out with the dogs. Until I get round to googling what to do with them I’ve left them on the Welsh Dresser to dry out.
It’s blowing a gale outside today, so I’m catching up on inside jobs and trying to resist t’Net. Work in the garden has come on a bit over the past few weeks, but as Mr Stoatie’s days off haven’t coincided with my weekends for a while, we’ve just been doing the routine end of year tidying on our tod. He’s cut all the hedges and I am working my way round the garden picking up the debris. The hedge behind the large pond has been cut back severely along it’s entire length, and we now have the rather unedifying sight of bare stems. Still it has given us a couple of extra feet of border and should green up again by next Summer.
I’m afraid the busier I am at work the more the blog suffers, I’ve had a frantic week covering the Office by myself and haven’t been up to much apart from attending the Drumming Circle. We’re working our way up through the chakras over the next few months, and began with the base or root chakra. Mine wasn’t too happy with me, but that’s a whole other post!
