I thought I’d share this photo of some of the floral tributes we had a funeral service this week. I was meandering around trying to find a kerb stone when I spotted this fantastic display, I take it Grampy was an artist, a bowls player and a keen gardener. The tiny little garden is so beautiful! I bet the florist enjoyed having something a bit more artistic to do than normal.
We still have The Builders in at Stoatie Towers, this is our sixth week without heating and it is beginning to take it’s toll. There is scaffolding all round the house and the back room has been partitioned by a plywood wall, so it seems very dark and dingy in here. It’s like living in a rather damp, yet incredibly dusty cave. The worst thing is that in all the mayhem, our hamster Spot, who lives in the back room where we would usually hang out, has managed to dislodge her water bottle and escape. I’m pretty sure that we’ll never find her, and I suspect she’s ended up inside the cat. We’ve been leaving peanuts around the room but none have been taken, so it’s not looking good 😦
On the brighter side just one more day at work then I have a week at home. I have quite a bit of stuff lined up to do, a mixture of catching up on chores, meeting with friends and doing druidy/shamanic stuff, hurrah!
