A quick update on my Alban Eiler seedlings. The second courgette took quite a while to show through and when it did, it seemed to be tunneling rather reaching for the sky. They’re more than ready to be potted up now, the little peat pot must be getting a bit cramped for them, so I shall have to go and brave the spiders in the shed and find a bigger one.
I really need to work out where in the garden to put them when the weather has sorted itself out – there were light frosts this week. It’s not just a matter of which conditions they prefer, but also where they are most protected from clumsy dogs!
