Yesterday we had our Imbolc Ceremony at the Grove. The ground was rock hard with frost and there was a bitter wind when I arrived at the Park and about midday it started to snow. At first it was tiny little flakes but then they got bigger and fluffier and before long everything was covered in a couple of inches of snow. During the rite it was coming down so quickly I was having to brush it off the script in order to be able to read it.
While we were waiting for the Cafe lot to arrive Craig had time to make a brilliant Air Installation to mark his Quarter. Absolutely fantastic!
There were eighteen of us in total which I think is a record turn out for the Setantii and was great considering the weather. Afterwards some of us repaired to the local hostelry to get warmed up and have a bit of a social. All in all a great day despite the freezing conditions!
