We’re off to Glastonbury this afternoon as it’s the weekend of the Summer Assembly. It’s time to meet up with old friends, celebrate the forthcoming solstice and have a good old shindig at the Eisteddfod. We’re not due back until Tuesday and I’ll report back on events then.
While we’re away I’m hoping to visit a few ancient sites, I am really hoping to make it to Stanton Drew this time as I have never been, despite having driven past it down the motorway dozens of times. It’s a complex of three stone circles, two avenues, a cove and an outlying stone, so plenty to go at there! – I will be taking my dowsing rods with me to see what I can discover.
